Answer: Any bit will work but the bit that comes with it is shorter than your standard bit. -

Answer: The tool is hollow so you can set the bit depth however long you want. Then cut the bit shorter if it sticks out. -

Does the dill hole go through the body of the counter sink hex?
Answer: The hex shaft is hollow allowing one to adjust the depth of the drill bit beyond the counter sink, making it shorter or longer as needed. -

Did the allen key come with? What size is that?
Answer: 1/8 Hex Key. Included with sets only not these single countersinks. -

Do you have drill bits only for this item?
Answer: They use standard drill bits as replacement pilot bit. Can purchase anywhere. -

Answer: There is not a recommended speed or feed as this item is not designed to drill in steel. This item is designed for drilling clearance holes and pilot holes for wood. -

Answer: With the provided twist drill, the maximum drill depth is a little over 2.5 inches. The drill bit itself is 2.78 inches long. You can insert a longer 1/8" twist drill into our countersink if you would like to drill deeper. -
