Fermtech Home Brewing Starter Sets Editorial Review
The Fermtech WineBeer Thief, measuring 17 inches in length and featuring a sample jar, garners a mixed reception among customers. Many users appreciate its functionality and durability, noting that it is quite effective for racking wine into bottles, with some praising its cost-effectiveness compared to glass alternatives. However, a significant portion of reviewers have experienced compatibility issues, particularly with one-gallon glass carboys. The plastic tip's width has been cited as a major drawback, making it unsuitable for use with smaller carboys without risking damage. Additionally, quality control concerns arose when at least one reviewer received a cracked test tube, detracting from the overall value of the product for some users. In conclusion, while the Fermtech WineBeer Thief has proven to be a reliable tool for many home winemakers, it may not meet the needs of everyone, particularly those using narrower carboys. **
