Dorman Accessories Editorial Review
Dorman 84790 High Temperature Headlamp Standard Socket Compatible with Select Models, 2 Pack features a plastic socket housing designed for high temperatures, with a nylon rating of 482F / 250C. Many users appreciated the easy installation and noted that the rubber boot provided better shielding than stock options, though some found the fit a bit loose. While the connectors improved upon original designs, one reviewer highlighted that the pinouts did not match their vehicle's wire colors, requiring some adjustment. Overall, these connectors have received positive feedback regarding their ease of splicing and fit when dealing with vintage vehicles or modifications.
