**** The Elvis box set *Sunset Boulevard* offers a transformative experience for fans of the King, revitalizing his '70s sessions with an impressive sound quality and an absence of the intrusive overdubs that often marred earlier releases. As noted by devoted fans and reviewers alike, this compilation not only brings together a strong selection of songs but also showcases the evolution of Elvis's artistry during a pivotal time in his career. Producer Matt Ross-Spang deserves commendation for his exceptional mixing work, which has unearthed the raw essence of these recordings, delivering a listening experience that feels both authentic and celebratory of Elvis’s legendary status. Listeners are treated to a robust selection of tracks Considered the nucleus of what could have Constituted a classic Elvis LP—a move that many believe revitalizes his artistic reputation in the '70s. Although the rehearsal material has received mixed reviews, particularly regarding sound quality and performance focus, the core albums shine with vibrant renditions of iconic songs. The joy of gaining insight into Elvis's rehearsals adds a layer of intimacy, allowing fans to feel connected to the artist and his creative process. Despite the inclusion of some tracks Considered mediocre by listeners, the overall reception is overwhelmingly positive. Longtime fans appreciate the thoughtful curation and the way it Consolidates various previously scattered releases into a single, comprehensive collection. **
