It is ideal for occasional usage and is much quicker in comparison to a full-blown desoldering station. It has a powerful suction that performs excellently and is economically priced for those who don't want to invest in a full-fledged model. However, it does require two hands to operate to reset it. A customer received a bent rod because of poor manufacturing quality control, which they were able to fix, but it's not ideal. Despite this, it is a decently designed product that does exactly what it is intended to.
