Moog K90462 Strut Bellows

The Moog K90462 Strut Bellows have garnered a mixed response from customers, particularly among loyal Moog users. While many customers appreciate Moog's general commitment to quality—often citing their problem solver lineup as superior—this particular product has left them disappointed. A recurring theme in the feedback is the material quality, which is described as a hard plastic, contrasting sharply with the more traditional rubber materials used in OEM parts. This change has raised concerns regarding fitment and durability. Numerous reviewers experienced issues with the bellows not fitting their vehicles, specifically mentioning models such as the Pontiac G8 and GTO. Many found that the dimensions of the bellows did not match at all and required modifications like hose clamps for a secure fit. Others even suggested that cleaning old bellows might be more effective than relying on this product. The design flaws extend beyond fitment issues, as customers noted shortcomings with accompanying foam bumpers that also did not meet size requirements. This has led some customers to question Moog's decision to produce these parts with plastic rather than the more flexible rubber material, as seen in their original components. Overall, while Moog is generally well-regarded for their replacement parts, this specific product has not met expectations, particularly for users looking for precise OE-level replacements. **
