DigiTech Electric Guitar Effects DOD201-13 Editorial Review
The DigiTech DOD201-13 Phasor 201 Analog Effect Pedal has garnered enthusiastic praise from musicians who appreciate its warm, rich phasing tones that retain high frequencies, setting it apart from many competitors in the market. Users frequently highlight the unique sound it offers, especially when used in conjunction with other effects. The internal trim-pot is noted as an invaluable feature for fine-tuning the pedal to hit the desired sonic sweet spot. Many users have expressed their satisfaction in achieving a univibe-like effect without the undesirable warble that can sometimes accompany similar pedals. The minimalist design, characterized by a single knob controlling both phase rate and depth, has resonated well with players who favor simplicity and effectiveness in their gear. Many customers have preferred the DOD 201 over more established models like the MXR Phase 90 and EHX Small Stone, citing its ability to seamlessly blend with their sound without overshadowing it, whether during rhythm or lead playing. While a handful of reviewers wished for a deeper phasing effect or an intensity knob to expand control, the overwhelming Consensus is that the pedal delivers impressive performance and is a strong value for its price point. The DOD201-13 clearly meets the needs of those seeking a high-quality phaser that enhances their overall sound. **
