Borla Mufflers 400487 Editorial Review
The BORLA ProXS Muffler (400487) has garnered a positive reception among customers, particularly for its robust sound profile and Construction quality. Many users have noted a significant transformation in the auditory experience of their vehicles after installation, citing the muffler’s ability to deliver a deep, aggressive tone without the annoyance of cabin drone, a common issue with many aftermarket mufflers. Various customers have shared their satisfaction, especially those upgrading from stock mufflers or less desirable brands like Flowmaster. They appreciate the ProXS for striking a balance between aggressive sound and drivability; it has a mellow presence during casual driving, while still providing an exciting growl during acceleration. This versatility makes it appealing even for family vehicles, as one reviewer described it as "family friendly" due to its non-raspy quality. Constructed from high-quality 304 stainless steel, the ProXS has also been praised for its durability, leading many to believe it will outlast their vehicles. Some users did report that the sound may become slightly louder over time, but generally found it to remain within acceptable levels for everyday use. Overall, the BORLA ProXS Muffler stands out for its impressive sound, quality build, and versatility, making it a worthy investment for truck and SUV owners looking to enhance their exhaust experience. **
