The Alpinetech PL8B LED Metal Signal Indicator Pilot Dash Light is a high-quality instrument indicator light. It can handle 3-5 amps and is compatible with a 220-240 VAC power supply. It does not require ballast resistors and has a built-in ballast system. The LED has a bluish tint that is visible even in daylight, and its luminosity, which is around 20-50 lumens, is sufficient for most applications. The lifespan of the LED is unknown, but one reviewer has reported six months of usage, (roughly 4200 hours) with no problems. The light is not available in red, and it is UL listed. It can be connected directly to 240VAC, and the phase wire doesn't matter.
