The Essential Mattress by Layla is a value for money mattress that provides mid-firm support and pressure relief, making it ideal for side sleepers and heavy individuals. The memory foam used in this 9-inch thick mattress does not give a sinking sensation but moulds around the body to provide a comfortable and supportive sleep. The movement isolation is also excellent, providing an undisturbed sleep. However, some customers did face some issues with delivery time and packaging. Some customers complained about the mattress not expanding to a 9-inch height and some felt that the mattress was not as described, and lacked the support advertised.
