Basic Care Maximum Strength Famotidine is manufactured in the USA but some active pharma ingredients come from China or India. The pills come in a plastic bottle and have a two-year expiration date. While it may work as well as Pepcid for some users, a few remarks that it didn't stop their heartburn, and it takes time to calm stomach pain. The inactive ingredients include lactose monohydrate, so it's not vegan. It contains dairy and is from the H2 blocker family which is recommended for those who take Zantac. The majority of reviews are positive, with customers citing fast action, good price, and effectiveness, especially with reflux. Some reviewers are disappointed with the short expiration date, while another user still experienced heartburn despite taking Famotidine.
