The purses are soft but still made of plastic and are of good quality, especially the metallic ones. The little accessories that come with the ball, such as the makeup brush and eyeshadow, can be opened which adds to the excitement. The purse can be easily removed and used as a real purse for Barbie sized dolls or any other toys in a similar size range. However, there are not always five items in each ball, confusing its actual count, and some balls may have duplicates. Although the product is relatively inexpensive, it may seem like a letdown when expecting more items, but the excitement and surprise factor make up for it.
