Preguntas y respuestas de los clientes
-
Pregunta:
What are power side door mirrors?
Respuesta: Power side door mirrors allow drivers to adjust their mirrors electronically using a switch inside their vehicle. This feature enhances convenience and safety, as drivers can quickly adapt their mirrors for optimal visibility without needing to manually adjust them. It’s particularly useful in dynamic driving situations, such as changing lanes or merging, where quick adjustments are needed to ensure a clear view. -
Pregunta:
What does it mean when the mirrors are heated?
Respuesta: Heated mirrors are designed to defrost or defog quickly, improving visibility in cold or wet weather. This feature is crucial for safe driving, especially during winter months or in rainy conditions. It enhances user comfort as drivers don’t have to manually wipe the mirrors, allowing them to focus on the road rather than maintaining clear visibility. -
Pregunta:
What is a puddle lamp and why is it useful?
Respuesta: A puddle lamp is a light feature located on the underside of the side mirror that illuminates the ground when the door is opened. This functionality is especially beneficial in low-light environments, ensuring that drivers and passengers can see where they are stepping when entering or exiting the vehicle. It enhances safety and adds a touch of sophistication to the vehicle. -
Pregunta:
Will these mirrors fit my 2000 Tahoe?
Respuesta: Yes, these replacement mirrors are compatible with 2000-2006 Tahoe models. It's important to verify the part numbers, 15179836 for the driver's side and 15179835 for the passenger's side, to ensure a perfect fit. This compatibility means you can upgrade your vehicle's mirrors while retaining the functionality required for safe driving. -
Pregunta:
Is installation of the mirror set complicated?
Respuesta: Installation can vary in complexity depending on your familiarity with automotive repairs. If you are comfortable with basic DIY tasks, you may find the installation straightforward, as it usually involves removing the old mirror and connecting the new one to the existing wiring. For those less experienced, it might be beneficial to consult a professional to ensure correct installation and functionality. -
Pregunta:
Do these mirrors include both driver and passenger sides?
Respuesta: Yes, this set includes both the driver and passenger side mirrors. Opting for a complete set ensures a consistent look across both sides of your Tahoe and provides the same technological features for both mirrors, such as heating and puddle lighting, enhancing safety and comfort regardless of the side. -
Pregunta:
Are these mirrors adjustable?
Respuesta: Absolutely! These mirrors feature power adjustments, allowing you to control the angle of each mirror from inside your vehicle. This is particularly useful for drivers who need to make quick adjustments during their drive to achieve the best viewing angle for safety and convenience. -
Pregunta:
What makes these mirrors a good replacement option?
Respuesta: These replacement mirrors are designed to match OEM specifications (Original Equipment Manufacturer), ensuring that they fit properly and function effectively. They incorporate modern features such as heat and puddle lamps, which may not be available in aftermarket options. This makes them not only a practical choice but also a quality upgrade to your vehicle. -
Pregunta:
Where can I buy Replacement Driver and Passenger Set Power Side Door Mirrors Heated Puddle Lamp?
Respuesta: You can purchase the Replacement Driver and Passenger Set Power Side Door Mirrors Heated Puddle Lamp compatible with your Tahoe at Ubuy in Paraguay. Ubuy offers a range of automotive replacement parts, ensuring you will find the correct and compatible mirrors efficiently.
Brock Exterior Mirrors 1337-5099LR Editorial Review
Overall, the Replacement Driver and Passenger Set Power Side Door Mirrors are easy to install and work well. However, there are some issues with the driver side mirror connection, which causes it to wobble. Additionally, there have been reports of receiving different mirrors (one powered and one not) and the driver side puddle light being different from the passenger side. While these mirrors are a cheap option that gets the job done, they are far from perfect.
