Rustins Appliance Paint Editorial Review
The Quick Drying Radiator Enamel Gloss appears to have delivered mixed results among customers who have used it for painting radiators and heater brackets. Many users praised the product for its ease of use and effective coverage. The paint goes on smoothly, dries quickly, and allows for a fresh, revitalized look, even achieving excellent results on older radiators and electric baseboards. Several reviewers noted that only two coats were needed to achieve full coverage, and the paint emitted only a slight odor that dissipated quickly. However, there were significant complaints regarding the paint's suitability for high heat applications. Some users reported that the paint failed to withstand the heat emitted by their radiators, leading to scorching, off-gassing, and the paint peeling or burning away. These issues raised concerns about the product's claimed heat resistance, which appears limited to 200°F. This prompted some customers to abandon the product in favor of alternatives designed for higher temperatures. In conclusion, while the Quick Drying Radiator Enamel Gloss is praised for its application and aesthetic results, potential buyers should be cautious about using it in areas with high heat exposure, as it may not perform as expected under such conditions. **
