Gotoh Bridges & Bridge Parts Got-1490 Editorial Review
The Gotoh Combination Bridge in black has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers who have used it. Many users highlight its robust Construction and excellent features, such as a locking mechanism for easier string changes and straightforward intonation adjustments. The bridge is often praised for its ability to enhance sustain and provide a significant upgrade in tone quality compared to cheaper alternatives, like the Wilkinson bridge, which some users found lacking in performance. One customer appreciated the ease of installation, noting that the Gotoh bridge fit perfectly without the need to change the stud inserts. Others mentioned aesthetic appeal, describing the bridge as looking "freekin' awesome" on their guitars. Users have reported improved playability and tonal clarity after installing the Gotoh bridge, leading to a much more enjoyable playing experience. While the product boasts many Pros, users have also pointed out a minor concern regarding string installation. Caution is advised during this process to prevent strings from damaging the guitar's finish, recommending the use of a protective layer, such as a piece of cardboard, to avoid any potential scratches. In summary, the Gotoh Combination Bridge is a highly recommended upgrade for guitarists looking to enhance their instrument's performance and appearance, with notable ease of installation and excellent tonal benefits. **
