Kids & Family Editorial Review
Cheaper By the Dozen is a heartwarming film that captures the essence of American family life in the early twentieth century. Based on a best-selling biography, it tells the story of the Gilbreth family, led by the pioneering parents Frank and Lillian, who raise their twelve children with love and humor. The film features a delightful mix of events that highlight family dynamics, including hilarious moments and a genuine love that holds them together, especially noted in the father’s pride. Audiences have praised its nostalgic charm and delightful performances, making it a great choice for family entertainment, despite some minor color inconsistencies in the DVD presentation.
