The KING SL1000 SureLock Digital TV Signal Finder is a useful tool for fine-tuning the positioning of your OTA antenna and ensuring the strongest possible signal. It can be hooked up anywhere between the output of the OTA antenna and the TV. It is recommended to take a splitter from the OTA antenna output, having one line going to the meter and another to the TV. The device tests the antenna strength once it is tuned to the channel and helps fine-tune it. It has no AC power but only requires a 9-volt battery. However, there are a few drawbacks to the product. Some customers could not get it to tell them anything. One user also mentioned that the device couldn't confirm the directions he already knew, making it a little worthless. Some also had trouble getting the SL1000 to work with their antennas. Overall, the KING SL1000 SureLock Digital TV Signal Finder makes it easy to see how strong your signal is, but it may be entirely dependable on your OTA antenna and its compatibility with the device.
