¿Solos?...ENGLISH DESCRIPTION Before Doctor Sleep, there was The Shining, a classic of modern American horror from the undisputed master, Stephen King. Jack Torrance’s new job at the Overlook Hotel is the perfect chance for a fresh start. As the off-season caretaker at the atmospheric old hotel, he’ll have plenty of time to spend reconnecting with his family and working on his writing. But as the harsh winter weather sets in, the idyllic location feels ever more remote . . . and more sinister. And the only one to notice the strange and terrible forces gathering around the Overlook is Danny Torrance, a uniquely gifted five-year-old.

Murder Editorial Review
**** The Spanish edition of Stephen King’s "El resplandor" has garnered enthusiastic praise from readers, particularly those interested in both horror literature and the Spanish language. Reviewers emphasize the book's gripping narrative, which immerses them in the psychological intricacies of its troubled protagonist, Jack Torrance. Many have noted that the novel captures the essence of horror through King's compelling storytelling, which effectively conveys themes of madness, isolation, and supernatural influences within the eerie setting of the Overlook Hotel. Fans of the original film often find themselves captivated by the novel's depth and detail, recognizing how King's creative prowess adds layers to the iconic story they remember from the silver screen. Several readers express that the book is just as compelling, if not more so, than the film adaptation, offering richer character development and a more intricate plot. The tension is palpable from the very beginning, with readers unable to put the book down once they dive into its chilling atmosphere. Overall, this edition of "El resplandor" is highly recommended for those who enjoy suspense, horror, and action—all deftly interwoven in a classic narrative that showcases King's undeniable mastery of the genre. It serves not only as a source of entertainment but also as a fascinating study for those looking to enhance their Spanish language skills through literature. **
